  Coming to an English-speaking country is an important decision to me.  Also, it has great effects on me.  At first, my English was poor and I couldn’t make conversation with foreigners!  After I came to an English-speaking country, I made great progress in my English skills such as reading and speaking.  To my surprise, I am not afraid of talking to foreigners now.  In there, I even made foreign friends and sometimes went out with them.  When I returned my original country, I find that I have more chances to get a job because I am good at English now.  With these good effects, I think it is a wonderful experience to me.

The new large factory has many negative effects on Action town.  With the new large factory constructed, pollution problems become more and more serious, such as air pollution and environmental problems.  Next, owing to the construction of new large factory, there will be more and more people move in.  This way, street will be filled with rubbish.  Besides, once there are more and more people move in, the small town will become crowned and noisy.  What is worse, public security will be severe.  To sum up, it’s a controversial issue to regard this construction as a bad thing.

My Favorite Holiday (revised)

Christmas is my favorite hoilday and I have several reasons for which I like it.  To begin with, when Christmas is coming, many stores are decorated by many patterns which are associated with Christmas.  Next, there are many pleasant scenery such as Poinsettias and light bulbs along the street.  Third, my friends and I will write cards and give gifts to each other for celebrating Christmas.  But the main reason for me is that many kids believe the existance of Santa Claus so they put their socks beside their beds and wait for him.  I think it is really cute for kids to do so because after we grow up, we no longer do this kind of thing.  As a result, I hope I still can keep this cute imagination even if I become an adult.

I have been to two great restaurants-Star restaurant and Hello restaurant, and I notice that there are many parts of them alike.  First, both of these two restaurants are in high qualities.  Second,  Star restaurant's service is as good as the other one.  Moreover, the neat and tidy environment of Star restaurant is similar to that of Hello restaurant.  Most important of all, Hello restaurant's waiters are really nice and polite.
Likewise,  Star restaurant's waiters are great. Owing to these outstanding conditions of restaurants,  I enjoy the atmosphere there very much when I have meals.

I would choose Debra as an English instructor in my school for several reasons.  First,  Debra is more professional than Lynn in education.  Next, compared to Lynn's employment experience, Debra has much experience than Lynn.  Third,  Debra published a book which is called English Verb Tenses  in 2006. Although Lynn is fluent in many languages, but the one my school needs is a ''English'' instrusctor.  Due to Debra's experiences,  I think she is the best person that we want!

There are many reasons why I accept this job.  First of all, the environment of the workplace is ideal for me: tidy, quiet and simple.  Next, one of my good friends also works here; this way, I will not feel lonely because I am a freshman here.  Next, the salary is attractive and acceptable.  Most important of all, this job is about English translation and I’m major in English.  I hope I can familiar myself into work soon!  

Discussing Cause-1

The business failed for several reasons.  First, there are two large music stores near this store, in this way, the competitiveness would be intense.  Second, most of the CDs in this store were hip-hop and rock; it was not only too simple but too unappealing.  They should have had more selections for people who have different interests in music.  Next, the business hours were too short.  Besides, people usually take a nap or have no time to go outside during this time, so this is the reason why the business hours were inappropriate.  Finally, Mr. Williams accept neither checks nor credit cards.  It was really unhandy for people.  According to the above, I think they were the main reasons of the business failed.
